The Columbia Tusculum Historic District was formed in 1989 to protect the historical resources and special architecture of our neighborhood. The District is one of twenty one historic districts managed by the City of Cincinnati.
Conservation Guidelines for the Columbia Tusculum Historic District are outlined in a booklet available from the City of Cincinnati. The Guidelines are “intended to assist property owners, architects, and contractors who are considering work in the Columbia Tusculum Historic District, including changes to existing buildings, demolition, or new construction. The guidelines are not a rigid set of rules, but serve as a guide in making improvements that are compatible with the district’s character. They set broad parameters in which district changes should occur.”
